A little track I cobbled together on ORCΛ using my old Yamaha PSR-38 for the voice. I wasn't sure I could get away with doing the whole composition in ORCΛ the way I wanted to, but with a bit of ingenuity, I managed to develop some simple machinery for cueing, triggering, and muting each part quite handily. There's a bit of redundancy and a bit of superficial inconsistency yet, but I got what I was after.
This might be my last track using the old Yamaha as a voice for quite a while as I mosey on back to more wild and primitive chip-sets as well as some more analog-ish territory, but I had been wanting to do something a bit special with the thing for a while now and could hardly imagine a much better send-off, given all that learned in the process (in ORCΛ, Bitwig, and a bit in the way of video capture and editing, as it so happens).
